They made their home in Amos Kentucky and continue to live there today. He moved his church membership to New Salem Missionary Baptist Church in KY and it was during a revival services there in 1998 he told of being called to preach two years earlier in 1996 while at home in the recliner. He was led by the Lord to unite with Mt Zion Missionary Baptist Church in 2005 where he was ordained to the full work of the ministry that same year. In 2007 he humbly answered the call to pastor Days Cross Roads Missionary Baptist Church. He fulfilled these duties until September 2013. After much prayer and leadership from the Lord he accepted the call to pastor Antioch Missionary Baptist Church on October 6, 2013. Jimmy and Lisa have two sons and one daughter-in-law.
